British edition AutoCar introduced the following information: Jaguar Land Rover Company plans to release a brand new Range Rover in the autumn of 2012. The car will be lighter and more efficient if to compare it with its predecessor. Car’s weight was diminished for 992 lb and makes 4740 lb. The car will have a light-weight aluminum body and first for the whole model history seven-passenger compartment. “Spare” sitting row is set in the boot as usually. A new look of the legendary luxury off-road car will be much more dynamic and progressive, if to compare with the current model. The automobile got a narrow radiator rack, inclined bonnet, narrowed headlights and a large purposely solid bumper. The car became larger due to a new platform. Wheelbase was increased for 0.027 yd. Thereby the car became more comfortable and got extra space in the compartment. Front and rear overhangs were diminished together with all these improvements.
New low-consumption and ecological engines will be under the off-road car’s bonnet. First of all these are two diesels: TDV8 with capacity in 300 hp and TDV6 with capacity in 260 hp. Both engines will work together with eight-speed gear-box ZF. A petrolic V-shaped “eight-speeder” will be there too. But its capacity is kept in secret yet
