مشكوور lss1power والله طلعت شغلانه تغيير الراس.
انا الكام الي مقنع بيه ال F13
FMS Custom Grind Camshaft - 230"/232" .595"/.585" 112LSA - aggressive profile with a 2500-6800 RPM range, rough idle
112LSA AND THE 114LSA
THANKS ALOT MY FRIEND FOR YOUR HELP
[That cam is good for a Manual tranny. The cam is too big for an AUTO LS1. The idle won’t be that good and the car will surge alot at low RPM's. Also if you want to go with Procharger then I don't suggest getting the F13 cam due to the 112 LSA. 112LSA will leak boost through the exhaust valves before it gets burned completely which means a less efficient setup. A less efficient setup for example is running 15psi to get 550rwhp while you can only do it with 8psi with a more efficient setup. If you want to run any kind of boost don't get a cam with any LSA under 114.
The difference between 112LSA and 114LSA is the timing of intake and exhaust valve closing and opening. The higher the LSA number the less overlap. Overlap means that the intake valve close and exhaust valve opens almost instantly and sometime it opens slightly before the intake valve closes completely with LSA's under 112. In a N/A application it’s good to have overlap because you want to finish the cycle as fast as you can, but in a boost application overlap will cause boost loss and basically you just leak good unburned air to the exhaust.
Now the heads….. You have to know if you want heads for a N/A engine or a boosted engine… before I can recommend you a setup. If you want to get Procharger later on then I suggest keeping the heads after the SuperCharger. If you don’t want to buy a Procharger soon then I suggest getting heads that will bump the C/R to at least 10.5:1-11.1:1 to extract as much power as you can from the heads, but keep in mind that those high C/R will not work really well with a SuperCharger or Turbo. So think really good before you start spending the money on heads.
If you want to buy the Procharger later on, my suggestion is that you keep your stock heads now with just upgraded valve springs, and retainers. Get a cam that gives you good power N/A and works well with a SC. I suggest getting a cam with intake duration of 214-218 exhaust duration of 220-226. The lift on the intake side should be around .570 and exhaust lift around .580. Keep the LSA around 114-115 for better driveability.
Good luck :)
